7.Choose and Book
Your GP has recommended that you be referred for further investigation. Under a new Government initiative, patients are now being given a choice of which hospital they are referred to, and also a greater choice of when they are seen.
There are many new sources of information to help patients decide where and when they would like to be seen. Some of these are in the form of handbooks, and some are in the form of web sites. Your GP will be able to give you a copy of the handbook, and the web-site addresses are listed below.
