Julia Adams is a Nurse Practitioner at the Practice. Nurse Practitioners are able to prescribe a range of medication, and therefore, julia is involvnew_nurse_practioner.jpged in assisting GP’s with their workload, helping to further improve access for our patients to see a clinician. The main clinical areas that Julia is involved with are: contraception advice, including pill checks, minor illnesses, including asthma exacerbations, ear problems and infections, coughs and colds, skin conditions and rashes, including eczema and acne, and also minor injuries, including burns, bites and lacerations.
With Spring on the way, our Nurse Practitioner can also assist with Hayfever and allergy conditions.
